-Installing, configuring and maintaining Win2K, Win2K3 servers with knowledge of Win2K8
-User Account administration
-File and Printer administration
-Patch administration and deployment
-Fine-tune the system for optimal performance
-Troubleshooting Clusters and related issues in a SAN environment
-Experience in atleast one backup tool – BackupExec /Netbackup /Arcserve/ Legato
-Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue
-Must be an very good hands-on experience in base OS issues and with working knowledge/awareness of one or more of the following:
oActive Directory
oSMS – Packaging and deployment
oFile and Print Services
oBackup
oExchange 2k, Exchange 2K3/2K7
oWindows Clustering
oMonitoring and Management tools like HPOVO, SIM (System Insight Manager), IBM Director, BMC Patrol, NetIQ, etc.
-Should have good communication and customer interaction skills.
-Must have aptitude and attitude to learn / work on new technologies.
